Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use our pages, book a call or session, or work with Money Savvy Coaching, a financial coaching business owned and operated by Adam Freund ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking or paying for a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What coaching is, and what it isn't

We provide educational financial coaching on budgeting, paying off debt, saving, and building healthy money habits. We are not licensed financial advisors, investment advisors, accountants, attorneys, or credit counselors. Coaching is not investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. We do not sell financial products, manage money, negotiate with creditors, or provide debt settlement or credit repair. For advice specific to those areas, please consult a licensed professional.

2. Your responsibilities and results

You make all of your own financial decisions and are responsible for them. Your results depend on your situation and your follow-through, so we cannot guarantee any specific outcome, such as becoming debt-free by a certain date. Please give us accurate, complete information, and never send account numbers, passwords, PINs, or Social Security numbers.

3. Free calls

Our free Money Game Plan Call (Quick Audit) is a short, no-cost conversation to see whether coaching is a good fit. There is no obligation to buy anything.

4. Discovery Session

  • The Discovery Session is a paid, 2-hour coaching session. Payment is due in full when you book.
  • Because your time is reserved just for you, Discovery Sessions are non-refundable and cannot be canceled or rescheduled, except in the rare case that we need to reschedule, in which case we will offer a new time or a full refund.
  • Prep work (a questionnaire and a financial worksheet) is due at least 48 hours before your session so we can prepare.
  • If you join the Money Savvy Membership within 7 days of your Discovery Session, the amount you paid for it is credited toward your first month.

5. Money Savvy Membership

  • The membership is billed monthly, in advance, to the payment method on file until canceled.
  • It has a 3-month minimum commitment. After the first 3 months, you may cancel at any time before your next billing date, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month.
  • Membership fees already paid are non-refundable.
  • Included sessions are scheduled within each month. Missed sessions without at least 24 hours' notice may be forfeited.

6. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge it for the services you purchase. If a payment fails, services may be paused until it is resolved.

7. Confidentiality

We keep what you share with us in coaching confidential, except as described in our Privacy Policy, when you give permission, or when disclosure is required by law or needed to prevent harm.

8. Our materials

Worksheets, guides, templates, and other materials we provide are for your personal use. Please don't resell or redistribute them without our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for financial losses resulting from decisions you make. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for those services in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time; the effective date at the top shows the latest version. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
